The best facilitation techniques harness the unique strengths of individual instructors, while incorporating what the learners need to succeed. Jim Teeters will lead an interactive session that highlights specific strategies instructors can use to more effectively present their important information. Participants will leave with a better understanding of this helpful training delivery model as well as a new understanding of their instructor style and strengths.

About the Presenter Jim Teeters is a long time educator and member of ASTD Puget Sound. He and his co-author, Lynn Hodges, combined their many years of experience in direct teaching of adults to develop a model for learning and development practitioners. Their book, “Teach with Style: Creative Tactics for Adult Learning” was published just last year by ASTD Press. They both believe in active teaching methods and promoting a balance of instructional strategies to engage adult learners.
