ATDps: December 2022 Virtual Member Event

Yet another networking session? Nope! Join us as we learn about the concept of netweaving. Unlike networking, the goal of netweaving is to foster reciprocal relationships in which you draw on your own talents, skills and contacts to help support and grow others, with the intention of forming a sense of long-lasting community.

In this session, we’ll learn more about the concept and why it's effective in building working relationships, then experience a few rounds of speed netweaving, in which you’ll get a chance to connect with other attendees and try out some of the concepts learned in the workshop.

Our guest: Ku‘ulani Keohokalole

We’ll be led in conversation by Ku‘ulani Keohokalole, owner and principal consultant for People Strategies Hawai‘i, an organizational development firm focused on creating people-oriented, culture-driven, and equity-centered leaders.

She trains, consults, and supports organizations across sectors and industries who are looking to transform around the ways they engage people to achieve their mission.

Kuʻulani was named one of Pacific Business News’s “40 Under 40” in 2020, and is a sought-after speaker on topics of diversity, equity and inclusion, Hawaiian values, organizational culture and leadership, speaking for the Hawaiʻi Business Magazine Wahine Forum & Leadership Conference, and the YWCA, among others.

Kuʻulani holds a B.A. in Ethnic Studies and Women’s Studies from UH Mānoa, an M.A. in Education Leadership, Politics and Advocacy from NYU, and an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting & Change Leadership from Georgetown University. She serves on the board of the Association for Talent Development Hawaiʻi, and is a proud mom of three living in Kāneʻohe, Hawaiʻi.

Puget Sound Chapter Programs have been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute for continuing education credits towards professional development hours for recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials.
