The leadership development consultant works directly with clients to create development strategies and solutions to support career success for employees at all levels. You'll need to partner well with client groups to help them build bench strength, strong leaders and achieve business goals as well as facilitate team cohesiveness and effectiveness sessions.
- Support the development of the people strategy for clients
- Support career development and investment planning for employees
- Facilitate Talent Review/ People Sync process
- Partner with the Executive Careers team to ensure that individual development aligns with the enterprise-wide executive talent strategy.
- Design and deliver leadership development custom solutions
- Facilitate leadership development workshops and programs
- Lead team effectiveness sessions to strengths inter and intra team dynamics
- Coach individual leaders through executive coaching engagements or work with external coaches to do so
- Help employees locate and utilize enterprise resources aligned with their development plans
- Identify emerging needs and work with Employee Careers to improve current offerings
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience in leadership development, consulting, team effectiveness and coaching
- 8-10 years of program delivery/ facilitation skills--expert facilitation skills that drive high levels of engagement
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong partnerships at various levels in the organization
- Skilled in leadership and development coaching
- Strong understanding of management/ leadership development and adult learning theories and their practical applications
- Demonstrated ability to observe and accurately diagnose development opportunities within a team or individuals
- Strong executive presence with senior seniors and ability to influence at all levels within the organization
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- SHRM, ICF, or personality assessment certifications/ licenses preferred
