Financial Empowerment Supervisory Level Training Instructors

Request for Qualifications Financial Empowerment Supervisory Level Training Instructors Burst for Prosperity has created a supervisory/mid-level manager training that focuses on improving the implementation and integration of financial empowerment and financial coaching into asset building services provided in human service agencies. Burst for Prosperity is currently seeking professionals who would serve as trainers for a pilot phase of this project. The training consists of a total of 12 hours covered in multiple modules. Different trainers for each module are a possibility. THIS IS CURRENTLY A PILOT PROJECT WITH A MAXIMUM OF TWO TRAININGS OVER THE NEXT SIX MONTHS. EACH TRAINING CONSISTS OF THREE MODULES (12 HOURS) The training modules are as follows:Training Prerequisites Module: Financial services & general knowledgePrior to completing modules on adoption, implementation, and integration of financial coaching, the agency supervisors will complete two self-assessments on (1) agency readiness and (2) personal financial knowledge. Based on these self-assessments, the supervisors will complete a preliminary or prerequisite unit on financial services. Module 1: Adoption of financial coachingGoal: Identify how agency structural features and organizational culture will influence the adoption of financial coaching. Module 2: Implementation of financial coachingGoal: Know how to develop the support for implementation of financial coaching within their agency. Module 3: Integration of financial coachingGoal: Mobilize a context to support the sustainability and integration of financial coaching. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Facilitate the training modules with a diverse group of social service agency supervisors. Trainings will be held in King or Skagit County2. Meet with the program director during the pilot phase to review training plans3. Model culturally relevant approaches and demonstrate knowledge of adult cognitive, language, emotional, and social development and classroom management techniques to meet the diverse needs of participants;4. Maintain records of training and training evaluations. OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS: · Attend Training of Trainers sessions while preparing for the training.· Attend trainers meetings throughout the pilot phase MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: · At least two years of experience as a program manager or director of a human services agency or comparable experience· Demonstrated experience with supervision of staff· Demonstrated experience with either asset building, financial education, or financial literacy· Demonstrated experience in adult education/learning/training or a similar area.· Demonstrated experience and ability to work with diverse populations. HOURLY RATE/HOURS: This is a contract position and pays $50.00 per hour starting rate for on-site training. Hours vary and are coordinated on an individual site basis.
