Position Description
Leads Continuing Education Advising and career development coaching services to establish learning  strategies and manage projects to accomplish them. Designs and implements services and resources to  support strategic-critical skill development in Boeing business and functional organizations. Consults  with management and employees to identify highest priority, university-delivered, continuing education  programs and other company learning resources. Oversees design of coaching-advising tutorials and  training packages, to be delivered online and to live audiences. Manages maintenance and improvement  of Advising tools/resources such as the Continuing Education Advising Toolkit and inSite Career  Development group. Makes coaching and advising presentations to local and national-webcast audiences,  virtually and in person.

As Advising Team Leader, provides data and metrics to leadership as  needed. Assists with hiring and with team member's career development.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically  13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  
Other Job related information
Proven ability to develop partnerships with business leaders and managers for workforce skill development; experience providing college academic /career advising on education program products and services relevant for business leaders, managers and employees; successful management of projects utilizing social media for workforce development; experience with internet-based, school program research; knowledge of the Boeing's Learning Together Program a plus. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel; proven ability to manage metrics systems to measure program impact. Experience using career development and counseling products including assessment instruments (Strong Campbell Interest Inventory, DISC, Myers Briggs.) is a plus. Performs work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. High level interpersonal and relationship building skills combined with strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated success planning and leading projects to completion.
