ATDps: July 2023 Virtual Member Event

We solve problems everyday, but what is that secret ingredient that makes us successful (or not) in meeting the complex challenges of our profession?! Introducing your instructional design problem-solving style! Yes, that's right you have a recipe, a-hem, we mean a style to how you solve the work you do in our profession! But do we ever get the time to recognize our effectiveness in solving them, so we don’t repeat them?

This session gives you starting points for comprehending your own style for solving instructional design-based problems, how that impacts team contributions and dynamics, and even the products you and your team create!

What new skills and outcomes will attendees walk away with?

- Recognize the three components that comprise a problem-solving style.

- Evaluate your aptitude for solving instructional design-based problems.

- Identify potential issues based on teammates' problem-solving styles and how to work with it!
