ATDps: May 2023 In Person Member Event

Learning and Development drives change—change in perception, in behavior, and when all goes right it drives impact on the organization. Individuals build skills, organizations build muscle. When a change initiative is underway across key departments or the entire enterprise, getting people ready, helping them see the vision, and communicating throughout the journey are keys to success. Business communications expert Bryan Rutberg has worked with leaders in multiple industries and in businesses small to large to help them share vision, set goals, and keep teams informed of progress toward their North Star. Using a recent initiative at the Seattle Aquarium and a variety of other case studies, Bryan will share best practices for L&D professionals playing key roles in making change successful. If you attended our January meeting featuring Michelle Yanahan speaking on Using Behavior to Accelerate Change, our May meeting will add to your readiness, although you do not need to have attended in January to get the most from our May program.

 Participants in this program will—

    • Develop a change management mindset to help them and their organizations drive initiatives including L&D/training that elevate skills, processes, and results

    • Learn to position training as a key change-driver and use change-oriented language to position the benefits of educational investments

Bryan guides and inspires leaders and their organizations to demonstrate love, understanding, and appreciation for customers and employees as a clear path to deeper loyalties, greater market share, and way more fun for everyone. In a 20-year corporate career at HP, McKinsey & Company, and Microsoft he used outstanding messaging and communications skills to build relationships, drive change, and generate results. He is a popular keynote speaker, trainer, and consultant
