ATDps: February 2022 Virtual Member Event
How are you experiencing Chaos right now? Are you aware of what phase you, your team and/or your organization is in - Chaos, Acceptance, or New Normal? After living through past world crises, and in working with multiple clients through this pandemic, it is clear to Vicki Shillington that leaders experience these different phases when norms of the world are suddenly changed…and then go through them again and again. Two years later, with the “Great Resignation”, ambiguity as related to Omicron and challenges with all “flavors” of the hybrid work model, executives are still challenged with how to deal with what feels like an ever-present state of Chaos.
As a leader, it’s essential you identify which stage you’re in, which stage your business is in and which stage your team is in. And you need to show up differently and take different actions to effectively shift the behaviors and mindsets of your organization, your team and even yourself. It’s critical to communicate differently with those who are in a different stage from you.
Join ATD Puget Sound, as Vicki guides us through an excellent tool which will provide you with a way of navigating conversations with your peers, your manager(s), your employees…and even yourself.
