South Puget Sound Chapter Meeting
Managing Learning Programs: Provide leadership to execute the organization's people strategy, implement training projects and activities.
Our regular monthly meetings will begin on Tuesday, October 3 (first Tuesday of the month). A special thank you to Don Sosnowski, Executive Director of Invista Performance Solutions, for the generous gift of their offices on the campus of Clover Park Technical College. While we encourage you to become a member of the ATD Puget Sound Chapter, membership is not required to attend our special interest group meetings.

Identifying and implementing training design, delivery and management in organizations can be daunting. It involves establishing vision, strategies, action plans, budgets and staff. While there isn’t a “one size fits all” to developing learning programs, there are best practices that can streamline the process and create greater success. Join us for a roundtable discussion focused on the strategies of designing a training program. Group participants are encouraged to bring examples from their own organizations to share best practices with the group.
This chapter meeting will focus on the Managing Learning Programs pillar of ATD's overall competency model.

SPEAKER BIO
Marie Tjernlund is a Leadership Consultant/Executive Coach at NobleEdge, LLC, a leadership development and consulting firm in Gig Harbor. She also serves as Manager, Workplace Training & Performance at TrueBlue, Inc. in Tacoma.
