Nurturing the best of both OD Network’s and IODA’s traditions, the  2015 ODN | IODA Annual Conference & 2nd OD World Summit  will connect communities to act and flourish together.

By bringing the world of OD together in Portland, we look forward to a truly international experience that will inspire all of us, create new opportunities, strengthen our Network of networks and help you to build strong bonds across all continents. This is why our theme is...

OUR FIELD ∙ OUR WORLD ∙ OUR IMPACT

This year’s theme will guide us through the three days we will spend together:

DAY 1 – October 18

On the first day, after checking in and enjoying the multicultural vibe in the room, we will focus our attention on our roots and history as well as what is going on in our field currently. The question we would like to explore here is:

What are some of the most important, relevant, pressing challenges and dilemmas we are facing as a community of practice today?

DAY 2 – October 19

On the second day, we will explore the changes happening around us in the world and look at what state of the art projects we as OD practitioners do in the U.S. and around the globe. Be inspired by the discussion and answers to this day’s question of:

What does OD mean and provide currently to the World both locally and globally?

DAY 3 – October 20

On the third day, we will look at examples of impactful interventions, ideas, local and global initiatives in motion. Based on the insights and inspiration of the previous days, we will gather momentum and build commitment by working through the question of:

How can we make a difference in our organizations and in the World?

Prior to Day 1, we will have a full day of pre-conference learning opportunities. These optional programs will range from on-site learning workshops, to community events, company visits and city tours. The pre-conference day will embrace learning, building community and reaching out to Portland, while getting us in the mood and enriching the overall conference experience.

As we are continually growing and developing our program to meet the diverse needs of our communities, we invite you to share your input. Please send your ideas or suggestions for enhancing the conference to odnetwork@odnetwork.org.
