ATDps: February 2015 Chapter Meeting
Evaluating Learning Impact = Evaluating Your Impact
Taking even the smallest steps to measure the impact of your work can make the case to your employer or client for why their investments in learning development should continue. Evaluating your impact also helps show your influence as an L&D professional. The meeting will depart from our normal monthly format by leveraging the significant expertise of our members. Come share your best practices with each other by bringing examples of how you demonstrated the impact of your work--or come with a question about how to overcome an evaluation or measurement hurdle you're facing. We will divide into four groups, discuss best practices and then each group will make a brief summary presentation to share ideas with the entire group.
After this meeting, we'll all be better equipped to show the value of our work. This chapter meeting will focus on the Evaluating Learning Impact pillar of ATD's overall competency model.
