Fall is my favorite season. I love all the fall things… back to school, leaves changing color, sweater weather, pumpkin spice everything… and of course, the ATD Puget Sound Workplace Learning Conference!
This year’s Workplace Learning Conference (WLC) is on Thursday, October 4th from 7:30am to 5:00pm. With two keynotes, four learning tracks, afternoon breakouts and workshops and an all-day learning expo; there is something for everyone and the day is sure not to disappoint. Fall is also the time that ATDps recruits for our 2019 Board of Directors. If you have been considering getting involved to further your career and personal development and give back to this vibrant community of Talent Development Professionals, now is the time! We have many volunteer opportunities and would love for you to get involved. We will be accepting Board Applications for all Director positions through September 30th, 2018.

Join us for a welcoming time of dialogue and connection at the “Kickoff to Learning” ATDps Chapter meetings. This is your opportunity to come together with fellow Talent Development enthusiasts to explore best practices and gain solutions to some of your most challenging projects. We’ll also introduce the 2018-19 ATDps chapter meeting topics so you can see the exciting lineup of topics designed around the ATD competencies. Whether you are an instructional designer, corporate trainer, coach or performance analyst, experienced or just started, bring your projects, your questions and your insights and let’s learn together!
The purpose of ENGAGE! is to share information about the ATD Puget Sound Chapter and highlight ways members and potential members can engage with the chapter in order to meet their own personal and professional goals.

September 2018 ATDps Volunteer of the Month - Elizabeth Buttrick & Jenn Gile
This month we would like to recognize the dynamic duo from our Professional Development team. Elizabeth Buttrick and Jenn Gile have demonstrated exceptional passion for developing our members and dedication in planning the next event in our Under the Hood series hosted at Zillow Group in September and planning our 2019 calendar. Elizabeth embodies inquisitive thoughtful planning and Jenn has shown us the strength of her relationship and collaboration skills through her extensive local network. Together they truly walk the talk in planning some great events for our membership. Thank you Elizabeth and Jenn for your hard work and building our ATD community!
