Learning in the Cloud, What do learning platforms look like in the future?

What does the future look like in learning platforms? How will social media and informal learning shape the way we train in the future? We will explore how to use systems you already have to provide on the job support for learning. We will look at how learning platforms can be cloud based and integrate with other systems. We will look at the future of learning and how technology will play a pivotal role in how we learn.

Through lecture, discussion and idea-sharing, learners will be able to:

- explain the difference between cloud based platforms and traditional internally hosted,
- define how and when to us social and informal learning tools to assist in learning and knowledge transfer,
- and explain future trends in learning styles and technologies.
