 ASTDps: April 2013 Chapter Meeting

“Increasing Performance through Effective Communication”

Why do people do and not do things we think they should? How big of an impact is there on results when people do not work well together? Performance improvement in organizations requires strong relationships and effective communication skills.  It isn't just the manager's responsibility either. In this highly interactive session participants will engage in dialog and exercises highlighting different personal styles and how they affect workplace priorities and relationships. Participants will explore the style differences and similarities to better adapt and ultimately improve performance and workplace productivity.

As a bonus follow-up activity, each attendee may choose to take a complimentary Everything DiSC Workplace Assessment within 10 days of the chapter meeting ($50 value). DiSC is a personality assessment tool designed to help people improve communications, build more effective relationships and ultimately increase performance throughout the organization.  In exchange for the free assessment, participants will receive one follow up call/email to answer any questions they have about their profile or the services People and Performance Strategies provides.

Come join us to improve your ability to identify and better engage with each communication style to eliminate barriers to performance.
